About this role

Following our successful bid on the Alberta NVIS Forestry contract, Canadian Helicopters is expanding its operational team. We seek experienced NVIS pilots to support night forestry operations on the Airbus H125 in Alberta. As part of Topflight Elite Training & Charter Services, you'll contribute to a world-renowned School of Advanced Flight Training.

Pilot the Airbus H125 during night operations using NVIS equipment for forestry missions. Act as a pilot per operational standards while ensuring safety in challenging mountain and night environments. Handle responsibilities related to night forestry support in Alberta.

Requirements

  • Valid Transport Canada Commercial Rotary-wing Licence
  • Canadian Pilot Licence - Helicopter (CPL-H) or ATPL (H)
  • NVIS endorsement with recent operational experience
  • Experience on Airbus H125 (preferred)
  • Valid Category 1 Medical
  • Ability to work 2-and-2 rotational schedule
  • Authorization to work in Canada (no sponsorship)
  • Forestry, utility, or night-operations experience (strong asset)

Responsibilities

  • Act as pilot per operational standards
  • Support night forestry operations on Airbus H125
  • Conduct NVIS-equipped night flights for Alberta forestry contract
  • Adhere to Transport Canada regulations during rotary-wing missions
  • Perform pre- and post-flight checks for H125 helicopter
  • Maintain strong safety culture and crew resource management
  • Handle any other responsibilities related to the position
