About this role

The Cabin Supervisor leads administrative staff and manages day-to-day operations in airport cabin services, focusing on scheduling, staffing, budgeted hours, and overtime control. This role ensures implementation of the Safety Management System (SMS) and maintains quality assurance oversight for performance and safety issues. Leadership is key in a dynamic aviation environment.

Daily responsibilities include assigning duties to direct reports, implementing station safety plans, and providing corrective actions for operational concerns. Supervisors perform subordinate duties when needed and handle off-schedule operations like weather delays or mechanical issues during the manager's absence. Reliable communication and transportation support these critical tasks.

Work in a team-oriented airport setting requires tact with clients, employees, and the public while treating information confidentially. Employees must cope with extreme weather, non-routine situations, and passenger assistance in various climatic conditions. Physical demands involve sitting, standing, lifting, and bending throughout shifts.

Growth comes through training and retraining personnel in airline procedures, safety, and company policies. Maintain good employee relations by handling problems efficiently and communicating effectively with senior airline management. Adhere to policies while projecting a positive image to airlines, staff, and the public.
