National Jet Systems are currently accepting applications for First Officers on the A220 fleet. Opportunities will be across our Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane bases. Flight Crew will operate from these key locations supporting fleet growth.

Requirements

  • Minimum 500 hours flight time in a fixed wing aircraft
  • 200 hours in command of a multi engine aircraft (excluding PICUS), or 200 hours in command of a turbine powered fixed wing aircraft, or 200 hours on multi-crew aircraft
  • Australian Part 61 Commercial Pilots Licence Aeroplane (CPL(A))
  • Full ATPL(A) exam credit
  • Multi Engine Aeroplane Class Rating
  • Multi Engine Aeroplane Instrument Rating with IAP 2D and IAP 3D
  • CASA Class 1 Medical Certificate
  • Multi-Crew Cooperation (MCC) training certificate or equivalent
  • English Language Proficiency Level 6
  • Current passport with unrestricted access to all NJS ports of call
  • Right to work in Australia without restriction or sponsorship

Responsibilities

  • Operate Airbus A220 as First Officer in multi-crew environment
  • Assist Captain during flight operations from Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney bases
  • Monitor aircraft systems and performance during flights
  • Conduct pre-flight planning and checks for A220 operations
  • Perform instrument approaches including IAP 2D and IAP 3D
  • Comply with CASA regulations and company procedures
  • Maintain flight logs and ensure safety protocols
