Calm Air International is a regional airline serving the Northern part of Central Canada from main bases in Winnipeg, Thompson and Churchill, Manitoba, and Rankin Inlet, Nunavut. We operate frequent daily scheduled passenger, charters, and cargo flights throughout Manitoba and the Kivalliq Region. Reporting to the Chief Pilot, the First Officer assists the captain in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the aircraft, including inspections and maintaining clear communication with flight crew and grounds staff. Conduct flights with strict adherence to Standard Operating Procedures, Canadian Aviation Regulations, Aircraft Flight Manual, and Company Operations Manual. Perform pre-flight calculations and operate ATR 42 and ATR 72 fleet types.

Work independently as well as part of a skilled team, sharing skills at all bases throughout Manitoba and Nunavut. Thrive with a stable schedule of pairings ranging from 1-6 days, minimums of 80 credits. Gain experience at a wide range of facilities serving customers, passengers, and communities.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Commercial Pilots License
  • Multi-IFR
  • Category One medical
  • ATPL exams completed, or IATRA written and passed
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a crew
  • Valid Canadian Passport
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a restricted area pass through WAA

Responsibilities
